The Gaming Memories of You: Handheld Gaming
Paul reminisced over his portable gaming memories today and we asked you to tell us what your favourite handheld console and game was. We had such a good response from you guys we felt it only right to share out your memories of handheld gaming with the rest of our readers. Thanks so much for sending them and we’re already looking forward to the next one.
I’m relatively new to handhelds, my DS was my first. I love that and my PSP for the JRPGs. Some great titles…

GBA SP, DS (1st gen, lol), & PSP. Favourite handheld game? Tough choice between Golden Sun & Advance Wars. I’ve also had a GameBoy (bought at launch), a Game Gear, and a GBA. But had to get rid of those :(

Everything from a tiger.com to a PSvita. My fave is still the Pocket Neo Geo Color and the Sega Nomad.

My black Game Boy. Had that, then pretty much skipped ahead until I got a DS and PSP and later the 3DS (which sucks).

every handheld going but land of illusion on game gear was prob my fave :)

DSi, Gameboy, Gameboy colour and PSP…best game has to be Pokemon Blue

GBA, SP, DS, DS lite, PSP. Best game was Final Fantasy Tactics Advance, closely followed by Advance Wars and Golden Sun. I don’t think a handheld has ever surpassed the GBA SP, though. It was nigh-on perfect.

I own most of them, even an ancient Donkey Kong Game&Watch. Favourite game would either be a Mario Kart, or Advance Wars

All the big uns. And Link’s Awakening as not only my fave handheld game, but probably fave game ever.

Original Game Boy that my dad brought while waiting for me to be born… A GBA and a PSP, the PSP was the best but unreliable. And the best game for handheld is by far Iridion 3D for GBA, not many people heard of it, but it’s really worth a play.
