August 2012 Video Game Release Dates
Here’s our top picks of August’s video game releases. We’re still not out of the summer drought yet and while there aren’t many games due to drop this month they all are worth your attention and a play. With Gamescom this month as well it’s one of the last chances this year for developers to show off this seasons line, so expect a ton of news in the coming weeks.

Risen 2: Dark Waters

Many horrible years have passed since the Gods abandoned the world and the titans rose from the confines of their prisons. They devastated everything in their path with unstoppable force. However, there is a place on the southern tip of the Old Empire which still seems safe from the clutches of the Titans – the “Crystal Fortress” in Caldera. It is the headquarters of the Inquisition and a place of refuge for the people.
