Sorcery – Official Launch Trailer
Sony are currently launching a fresh wave of games for the PlayStation 3 using the PS Move. One such game to recently hit the market is Sorcery, co-developed by The Workshop and SCE Santa Monica Studio.
The game revolves around Finn, a young sorcerer’s apprentice, who must protect his beloved home from the Nightmare Queen. She has broken a pact she once made with mankind, and threatens to cover the land in darkness. Along with his cat, Erline, Finn must adventure to the Faerie Kingdom and find out the ancient secrets from the City of the Damned to rid the world of the nightmare that has covered it, along with the Queen’s evil minions.
Using the Move wands, as Finn you are able to cast four different spells using a range of movements, while creating potions, solving puzzles, and collecting all manner of items. With colourful graphics and exciting use of the Move peripherals, this is hopefully the first of many titles to really utilise the technology in this launch of second generation titles.
