E3 2012: What Do You Want From Our E3 Coverage?
Hey guys, your friendly neighborhood… umm… Lee here.
We’re getting ready for E3, trying to sort out the best way to cover the show without us actually being there. We’ve got some pretty good ideas on what to do, but we thought it only made sense to turn to you, the guys and girls that we do this for, to ask what you wanted.
We don’t want to bore the pants of you with stuff you already know. We, just like you, will be watching the whole thing online as it happens so we want to try and do something a little different. We’re just not sure what yet.
What would you’d like from us? What things annoy you that other sites do this time of year? Have you got an awesome idea that you’ve always wanted to do yourself or see somebody try? How would you like to get involved with us?
So please let us know what you’d like from us at this glorious time of year.
Site members can reply in the comments below.
You can also let us know over on our Facebook timeline here.
Or if you feel that you can cram your answer/suggestion/idea into the 140 you can reply to this tweet.
We need your help! Could you let us know what you would like to see from us next week during E3? thegamejar.com/2012/05/e3-201…

On behalf of the team at TheGameJar, thank you. We’ll do our best to get out there next year… think of this as a kind of test run.

How about a podcast/live recording of the teams reactions, as things are announced with your thoughts and opinions on each thing.
ohh that’s not a bad idea.
It cant be helped a lot of the time, but my twitter timeline just turns into repetitions of the same announcements or observations. EG:
Japanese man struggles with words
Xbox have hired lame actors again
etc etc
which is really annoying (for me at least) and some sites think that basically a list of those tweets is sufficient coverage. Anything more personalised or relevant to the joe blog gamer will certainly make me visit the pages :)
I guess the web will be full of it as stuff is announced [and announcements come out ala Toby937's comment, heh] but I am thirsty, *THIRSTY* ya’ hear(!?) for all the juicy Wii U goss, =D.
And of course waiting to see if Microsoft or Sony do a U-turn on their previous statements that no new consoles will be announced from them this year.
It would be cool if you could break down the important news into bite size chunks so don’t have to read through pages just to find out what’s been announced like on some other sites or if you could pay for me to go to E3. Haha
