DiRT Showdown Demo Competition
Want to win a very rare DiRT Showdown shoulder bag, pile of stickers and badges, key ring, bottle opener, can cozy and a MLG Pro Circuit controller for the Xbox 360 all courtesy of the lovely folks at Codemasters?
Then try and beat TheGameJar’s very own Lee by setting a faster time than him on the DiRT Showdown Demo. Watch the video above to find out how he did, download the demo on your platform of choice, do your worst on the San Francisco 8Ball single player event using any car you like. Take a photo of your screen as shown in the video, either with your phone (or camera) or screen-grab from your PC, and upload it to our Facebook timeline or send it to us on twitter with the following tweet:
“I just beat @TheGameJar’s Lee on #DiRTShowdown [insert photo link here]“
Lines close on Sunday 6th May at midnight (GMT). You’ll need to be following us on Facebook and Twitter so we can contact you if you win, and you can enter as many times as you like.
We’ll also be giving away DiRT Showdown stickers at random to people who manage to beat Lee’s time over the course of the competition. With the big bag of swag going to the one person who sets the fastest time from all of the entries.

Just an update to let you know we are still tracking all the entries and everyone who does will be entered into the prize draw to win some stickers but there’s stacks of entries coming in. We are keeping track of them all and will update from now on every time we have a new leader.

anyone using PC is going to win as the Console version of the Demo doesn’t have the Truck or Herse so we have no chance :/
and regards to the German guys time (Philipp Ruhwedel) if he didn’t press continue the time doesnt save. Toby937 has posted a time of 1:53.53 but on the Leaderboards it says 1:56 something because he didnt press continue he pressed retry.
Thats why i always press continue after i post a faster time. But you can never be sure
How do you view the global PC leaderboards? I can only find friend leaderboards.

I agree with Kieran, anyone with the PC demo has an unfair advantage because they have 2 extra vehicles to chose from. I just hope my time i submitted on twitter was enough 1:40:73 and its saved on the demos leaderboards
Right ok sorry for such a long time in picking a winner we’ve had to do our best to verify a winner as it turns out there are a few loopholes that let you take advantage of the leaderboards that lead to some questionable entries.
